Office Hours
Check ins and Check outs are accepted:
Monday through Friday (8: 30 am – 12:00 pm and 3pm – 5pm)
Saturday (8:30 am – 3:00 pm)
Sunday: (9:00 am – 10: am & 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm only)
If you need to drop off or pick up your dog during off hours- let us
know- we may be able to accommodate you (an additional charge may apply).
Tours
We are very proud of our facility and
we look forward to showing it to you.
For the safety and comfort of our guests, tours are available by appointment.
Medication
For pets that require medication, Green
Dog Inn will medicate per prescription instructions only. An additional
charge may apply based on the need of each pet.
Baths
-All pets checking into Green Dog Inn
are checked for fleas on arrival. Any pet checking in with fleas or
flea dirt will be bathed immediately at the owner’s expense.
-Green Dog Inn recommends an exit bath for dogs staying longer than
three days, puppies, elderly dogs, and long hair dogs. All baths include
ears, nails, and brush out. Exit baths are charged at a discounted rate.
Vaccinations
Our guests health is a primary concern
to us. Please bring a vaccination certificate verified by a licensed
Veterinarian. Please make sure your pet will be covered through their
entire stay.
Dogs:
Rabies (1 or 3 year immunity based on your pet’s age)
DA2PPV (1 – 3 year immunity based on your vet’s recommendation)
Bordetella (6 or 12 month immunity). It is strongly recommended that
your pet receive this vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to their stay.
Cats:
Rabies (1 or 3 year immunity based on your pet’s age)
FVRCP (1 – 3 year immunity based on your vet’s recommendation)
Personal Items
Green Dog Inn provides the following
to all its guests: beds, bowls, toys, and treats. You can bring a favorite
toy or two from home but please make sure they are washable and cannot
be ripped apart or de-stuffed.
Only small blankets will be allowed, something that can be washed in
a household washing machine. No stuffed bedding will be accepted. While
each pet has their own bin for personal items, because of our strict
cleaning policies, your items may become misplaced and difficult to
locate on departure day. Keeping this in mind, please don’t bring
any items that are precious to you where you would be upset if they
were lost.
If There Is An Emergency
If, for any reason, it is determined that one of our guests needs veterinary
attention, we will attempt to contact your personal veterinarian. If
we are unable to reach them, we will contact a local veterinarian or
emergency hospital to attend to your pet. Every attempt will be made
to contact you as well, so you are aware of the situation and are available
incase any major decisions need to be made. The cost of any veterinary
services and transportation is the responsibility of the pet owner and
will be charged on departure day.
Playtime
Is your pet a socialite? A bully? A drama queen (or king)? A sweetheart?
A nosey body? A loner? Only likes people? We tailor playtime around
your pet’s personality. They can go out in the yard to play with
similar dogs, a whole variety of dogs or just a person or two- and some
toys. If your pet prefers to play inside we have a spot for that as
well! We aim to make every pet’s stay here as fun and stress free
as possible! Let us know what your pet prefers and we’ll be glad
to accommodate them. See our Services and Rates page for details about

Boarding Charges
Boarding charges are by the calendar
day. Each guest is charged for the day of arrival regardless of time
of day. Guests being picked up before 12:00 pm will
not be charged for that day. There is a $30.00 charge
for all pickups and drop offs on holidays and after hours.
Payment
Payment is required for all services
rendered prior to departure. A deposit is required for all first time
guests, pets staying two weeks or longer, and for all holiday appointments.
A signed blank check is to be left with us and will be filled out upon
departure. We accept personal checks or cash. Sorry,
but we do not accept credit or debit cards at this time.
If You Need To Cancel
Please give us as much notice as possible
as we will need to re book your pet's space. If we are not able
to re book it, a cancellation fee may apply.
